I usually do something like cottage pie, casserole or lasagne as they reheat well.

What I am looking for are meals that I can reheat in the microwave as a whole meal.

Ideas very welcome:)

So how is everyone????
Here everything is fine. Not anything tht exciting going on. School starts back on the 16th and Luca will be in second year of primary school! Seems like yesterday when I found this forum and I was in front of this computer with my enormous bump!
Gero is going to be starting nursery too. He's a right little cheeky man!
My mil is still a great big rat bag :D
I'll have a nose round the forum and see whats been going on.

A family moved into a house next door to an empty plot. One day Joe, Steve and a gang of building workers turned up to start building a house.

The young family's 5-year-old daughter naturally took an interest in all the activity going on next door and started talking with the workers.

She hung around and eventually the builders, all with hearts of gold, moreor less adopted the little girl as a sort of project mascot. They chatted with her, let her sit with them while they had tea and lunch breaks, and gave her little jobs to do here and there to make her feel important. They even gave her, her very own hard hat and gloves.

At the end of the first week they presented her with a pay envelopecontaining two Pounds in 10 Pence coins. The little girl took her 'pay' home to her mother who suggested that they take the money she had received to the bank the next day to start a savings account.

When they got to the bank the cashier was tickled pink listening to the little girl telling her about her 'work' on the building site and the fact she had a 'pay packet'.

'You must have worked very hard to earn all this,' said the bank cashier.

The little girl proudly replied, 'I worked all last week with the menbuilding a big house.'

'My goodness gracious,' said the cashier. 'Will you be working on thehouse again this week, as well?' The little girl thought for a moment and said...

"I think so. Provided those wankers at Jewsons deliver the fucking bricks and it doesn't piss down with rain."

Decided to do a day trip to the seaside, which we haven't done since moving to Staffordshire which is a slightly landlocked county! Discovered we can get to a passable seaside in North Wales in a little over two hours, spent the morning on a sandy beach, had picnic lunch and moved to stony beach where I had a swim, then went up the Great Orme to round things off, very pretty etc.

Then the car broke down.

DH not at his best when car breaks down. Llandudno seafront not best place to find convenient pulling off place with car making horrible grating noise and then wait for an hour with two getting-tired-and-hungry kids in the rain.

Car is still in North Wales, poor little thing. We are home in courtesy car (espirito di punto, hmm...). Garage that told me brakes which are now so metal on metal they have buggered up the discs were "absolutely fine" five weeks ago is going to get such a bollocking on Monday morning!!

The cat is pleased to see us though. And still two days til the first day of term!
