Thread: Statement....

Alfie was initially refused a statutory assessment this year and we appealed. Took weeks to organise the paperwork.

Today we have had a letter to say we have been successful in our appeal and his assessment will start immediately.

All we do is fight for him, to get what he needs. Some days I have a real chip on my shoulder about it. And some days I don't think people with 'joe-normal-average' children realise how bloody lucky they are!

Anyway.......... It'll not be done in time for our decision on his next school, but at least we are moving in the right direction!!!!

I am not sure what Alfie's troubles are but it doesn't matter. Any victory you can scrape out is huge in my books.

Keep fighting and keep your "chip" too while you are at it. It forms there for a reason :-)

good news When do you have to apply for secondary ?

Well done you!!!! Your appeal must have been something really outstanding to have got the original decision overturned.

We have to decide dan have our forms in by the end of october.

Well done on getting this far on the way. Onward and upward, fingers crossed.
