    should I be planting...

my tulip bulbs that I dug up after spring?

I have a blank canvas of a border and was thinking I should plant them now, with some bedding plants on top, would that be right?

And should we be doing the hyacinths now, in time for Cmas?

If you dead head them regularly, winter pansies will see you through into Spring, yes ... as will cyclamen, but do NOT bury the corm, just plant 50-75% of it.
Other than that .... not a lot of bedding plants about but definitely get those bulbs in this month; also a fab time to move shrubs etc ...

    cyclamen ..... google it.

Corm, big bulb thing that leaves and flowers grow from, must have top of corm exposed, else rots into a mush
