    Tilly I use one of those one of those thingy plugs that would cut it out if anything bad happened and I was going to mention my TV but after your thread about them I though better of it

    hair dryer, tv, sewing machine I have lived without a dishwasher forever (till next friday YAY!) and I could manage without a tumble drier although it would be tough!

    I am with you Macmcrae - I love my digital radio - it is always on!!

    Would also not want to do without the vaccum cleaner and iron!

    Dishwasher, Sky+ and tv. I think I could cope without a dryer but I'd hate it.

    I have no hairdryer dishwasher tumble dryer microwave, I could do without telly but don't think anyone else in the family would survive, hoover could be done without if all carpets were got rid of, computer now that would be a bit of a pain to do without... and mobile/phone.

    If I had to live in primitive circumstances I would be quite happy but the washing, that would be a chore. Washing machine is my no.1(the thread title did say appliance in the singular)
