Thread: breast pain

2nd BF question from me..........over the last week I've been getting an intermittent sharp but not severe pain in the left breast, it feels as though it is travelling down the breast to the nipple. It doesn't happening during feeding but a short while following and not every time. any thoughts?

Not sure, would a blocked duct feel like that? Does your breast feel lumpy at all? If so try to smooth out the lumps by rubbing along them (hope that makes sense).

You could try ringing one of the breastfeeding help lines to ask them what it might be.

Thrush can be like that, check babies mouth for any sign.
