    How much milk?

My littleman is just over 11 months and is still having 3 bottles a day..

He has 7oz in the morning, then breakfast, lunch at half 12ish, 6oz about half2, dinner at 6ish then 7oz before he goes to bed at half8.

Just wondered if I should be cutting down his formula so he eats more of his solid meals.

Also do you think I should be mixing a little bit of cows milk in with his formula so he gradually gets used to it?

Well I'll be watching this thread with interest as I was going to start a similar one any day soon! DD2 has 4 bottles though 180ml each. Also, she goes through phases of not eating really so I don't want to cut down just yet!

No, don't mix cows milk with formula. Use cows milk on his breakfast cereal and for cooking etc but I wouldn't mix it in with formula at all.

When DD2 was 11 months she was on 2 bottles, one at breakfast and one at bed but every baby is different. I always gave her food first then bottle as she was a tinker and wouldn't eat after having a bottle, so maybe that's something to think about trying?

For what it's worth, Caylin still doesn't drink cows milk as I buy the Cow & Gate growing up milk for her because it's more nutritional than cows milk but she has cows milk in her cereal etc so she does have the taste of it.

He's not really a fan of eating cereal with milk, he used to love wheetabix but has gone off that now. But its been a couple of weeks so may try him with again with cows milk. Thanks
