Thread: Date to see the Surgeon

i have a lump on my back that is (hopefully) just fatty tissue but it's 8cm in diameter so i'm having it removed. I now have a date to go see the surgeon which is at 9am on 31st August. Hoping it won't take to long to see him as i have a day out planned for that day

Yes, fingers crossed it will be quick and is what you think it is. I think they generally start at 9 don't they, so you may be first and hopefully not delayed! Do you know what they will be doing?

hopefully looking at said lump and giving me a date. It should just a local and then a quick walk home but i want to specify half term in october so i don't have to have time off work

My dh has a similar lump around 1" on his back it has been there for about 10years and feels like just squashy fatty tissue too. But hes too chicken to have operations

Hope it is a quick appointment, and they're running on time, given that it's your birthday and all.
