    Eczema advice.

Have been having trouble with eczema now for quite a few months.I keep going back to drs to get a different cream each time.I would say the cream i have at the moment is working well.My problem is my skin is so dry its ichy & looks bad.Ive tryed e45, simple, aquauious cream.i just wondered if anyone could give me some tips as too what i could use in the bath & on my face.I would be so grateful for any advice.

we use double base with isla it's on prescription from the doctors and as well as a moisturiser its gel based and you designed to be used as a body wash as well.
dd gets it really bad and this is the only thing and cuttin down dairy that helps us keep it under control.

We used to put Oilatum in the kids' baths when they were suffering. Worked well for them. Turns the water a milky colour, and leaves the bath slippery, so you need to be careful.

    We will remember them.

Hopes Relief cream, it is amazing!, also 2nd Kerry's advice re oats in a sock in the bath. Wash your clothes in non bio sensitive stuff (I use Filetti and it is really good on DD2's eczema)

Dermol, Aveeno or Lush's dream cream are what I use on DD2 to keep it moisturised. Dermol bath stuff, no fragranced anything and non-Bio liquid to wash clothes.

And hydrocortizone for when it's bad, or another one with antibiotic for when it's really bad.

Aveeno is fab, also have you looked at your diet? Some foods will make it flare up.
