Think you've covered everyone MJ (although I'll feel crap for saying that if there is someone missing )

We're doing good here although I've got a horrid cold at mo, so hoping Caylin doesn't catch it from me!

She's a little angel and doesn't use her lungs to full capacity very often (bet the neighbours are glad ) although some of my plans didn't work out

After 2 days we made the decision to change her to bottles because she was hungry and stressed but no matter what I tried she wouldn't latch on to my boobs I couldn't bear seeing her like that so made the decision to change. I did feel really guilty at first thinking I should have kept persevering but I've come to terms with it and I wasn't exactly doing her much good if she was starving and not getting any nutrition.

There are times when I feel like a first time mum again though as I seem to have forgotten so much!

All is going well here, although tonight is my first night without DH (he is away on business until Wed) so I may feel differently in the morning!

Emily is divine, lives in a carrier most of the time, and sleeps well at night. Feeding took a while to establish (which came as a shock to me as I assumed second time around it would be a doddle) but things are going really well on that front now. Emily has started really smiling and cooing, and seems to be slowly settling into a vauge routine (her own choice - not that of her disorganised parents!).

Sofie is great with her, although I do have to be careful as she can get a bit 'over enthusiastic' at times. She is desperate for Emily to play big girl games with her, and the first words out of her mouth in the morning are 'see Emily'.

So despite being knackered and not having lost the additional baby weight yet, all is going well here.

All fine here but life is pretty tiring atm. Rowanna is gorgeous! She's feeding well, sleeps well too in her pram (yes pram!) she doesn't sleep much in a sling at all and likes to be laid down alone to sleep. We were having daily crying sessions (of at least an hour ) where she had got so overtired which have been cured since laying her down to sleep wherever possible. When over tired she won't even be fed to sleep, she's very different to my three older children as they were all happy to be fed to sleep. We're co-sleeping at night and she sleeps about 5-6 hours from around 8-9pm.

DS2 is still very loved up with her and wants to hug her all the time and will try and pick her up when you leave her on the changing mat.

DD1 and DS1 think she's lovely and enjoy holding her but are busy with doing their own things too.

TBH I'm finding trying to get the practical housework type stuff done and trying to keep up with it the hardest challenge. I'm sure as I've had more children I'm more bothered by the mess than I was pre-children. DP does do lots around the house but he works pretty long hours in the week so I end up doing most of the household tasks simply because I'm here.

Don't feel guilty Hids. You have to go for what works for you and Caylin and it certainly sounds like she is now one contented baby

My LO is variable at night, he is now getting the hang of sleeping in his Moses basket between night feeds. He is a good little feeder but unfortunately even better at vomiting it back, he can soak through an entire muslin with one of his olympic bid vomits.
DS1 adores him but has to be frequently stopped from crushing his little brother as he is over enthusiastic as only a 2 yr old can be .

Henry is lovely and such a relaxed and easy little boy. He does fart a bit but it doesn't seem to bother him He loves being in the sling & he has his day sleeps in that or his doomoo seat.

I've been spoiled - I had my mum from SA here for over a week & DH had last week off. He's back at work working long hours and away next week - which will be the first for me being on my own.

DS2 co-sleeps and will sleep around 5-6 hours from 8-9 pm and then waking between 5-6 am (more 5) and then sleeping till 9. No complaints and the bf is good (after all the problems I had with DS1).

    I am coming down with a cold - hope I don't pass it to DS1 & DS2.

DS1 is settling in OK with DS2 but he is not overly interested in his brother. The dogs came back this past weekend after a 3 month 'holiday' with MIL - DS1 was more excited to see them back!

I am trying to stop eating so much chocolate and in my attempt I started baking the cranberry & white chocolate cookies - a recipe in the Green Parent Magazine and now I can't stop eating those!

DO NOT get me started on those Ellie.
I also made a batch, and they are now considered a staple food in this house (well they do contain fruit....).
No wonder I am not shifting this baby weight!

    I'd like that recipe pleeeeeeeease!

Well dd absolutely adores her little brother, every morning the first thing she has to do is go and see HER Noah! She is so lovely with him and always trys to calm him if he's crying.
It all seems easier than I thought it would, ds has just fit in with us and he's a much better baby than dd ever was.
He gets up with us about 7am and has a feed then goes down for his sleep about 9ish for a couple of hours, hen he'll ahve another bigger sleep in the afternoon until 4.30ish and he'l be awake then until bedtime.
He now has a bath with dd which he loves and hes in bed anytime between 8 and 9pm and he'll get me up about 2ish then again about 5ish.
Breastfeeding is going really well and dd isn't the slightest bit bothered that I have milk coming out of my boobs!!
All in all we're doing really well, he's a very happy content baby and I'm a very happy mummy!

    Bel
