    Mother's Day plans???

DP and I are going out with his mum for a meal on Sunday - so nothing majorly exciting!! I was hoping I might have won the lottery last night so I could have flown over to the US and surprised my mum on Mothers day - but that didn';t happen LOL!!!

    Does anyone else have plans?

LOL!! Dd was off school on Monday ( she has tonsilitus) I was downstairs and she was up in her room decorating a plate - it was a kit she was given at Christmas. She came downstairs and said don't look - while she flashed around the plate she had decorated with "Happy Mothers Day" painted all over it!!! She has hidden it somewhere now though.

It's going to be MIL's last mothers day, she's currently pretty poorly in the hospice so we have no idea if she'll be home or not. We've been invited over by Stu's dad to stay saturday night and have a meal on the sunday, along with stu's brother and sister and their families. Stu's sister isn't keen as she doesn't think it's right we're all together like that on Mothers day and MIL not there, I can see where she's coming from. So really, I have no idea.

Sorry, it's been a tough couple of weeks.

We won't be doing anything special as DH is away but I know Jenny has something up her sleeve as she keeps disappearing to her room and telling me not to come in. I have to sort out something for my own Mom - may take her out for afternoon tea. We have a pretty busy weekend this weekend so hope to relax a little on Sunday.

Hugs to you Gemma I know what it's like.

Oh Gemma - that is so sad. How difficult for you all. Couldn't you all go to the hospice for a little visit and then all have lunch together? I sure your MIL would want you all to have a nice day - as you are a mummy too.

We don't know what to get DP's mum - she loves flowers so would like them but seems a bit boring to me.
