sorry my son was born in england but we moved to wales 14 years ago his girlfriend was born in wales to, her mother kicked her out of the house when she was 16,so she was living in a hostel but most of the time with us,

If your son's baby was born after 2003 and he's registered on the baby's birth certificate then he has the same right's as the baby's mum, which is a lot more rights than her parents. I hope it's all sorted soon for you all

Such a shame that things are like that for you with regards to the nationality being a problem for her parents. My DD is with a Welshman and his family are fine with it, as are we! As far as we're concerned there's no difference at all, the same with his parents. When we see each other we all get along really well.
