That is my problem auntylady. But last time I had multiple blisters all over my feet - top, bottom, between toes, you name it. Ended up with both feet bandaged up - so may as well have ended up with socks anyway. Ouch - just the memory makes my feet hurt.

Fitflops - don't wear trainers and socks as if you go on any of the wet rides you'll regret it. I love my fitflops and I also have a pair of Birkenstock Betulas which I find very comfortable. On most of the rides there are little storages places to put flip flops.

    Would you wear those Sarah?
I have a pair of these in black that I wear for work in the summer as we have to wear closed toes and heels, and they are not that comfy althought they look it.

    Some good ideas ladies, thanks

Bought these today, wearing them around the house at the moment to break them in!

The best way to avoid blisters is the old hikers way....

rub damp soap on the feet, then put on a pair if loop pile socks with the loops facing out, then a pair of loop pile sock with the loops in. This was, the loops rub against each other and not your foot. The damp soap kinda 'lubricates' to prevent minimal abrasion!!

At least, thats how we did it for scout night hikes etc when I was a teen!! Not very sexy though!!
