don't know if you entitled to WFTC but if you get awarded DLA your WFTC goes up - so if you weren't entitled before you might be once you get DLA.

fingars crossed you can get it then - if you get the higher or middle rate your dp can offically become your career and you can apply for carers allowance - which is a very simply form

isla gets here's for 3 years at a time - don't know if it's different for adults

I get mine for 2 years at a time, this is the second time. There is no fixed periods, for some conditions they will award it for life, some for a year, some 5. It depends on what you have and whether they think it will change.
