    hugs pie!

I dont know the back groud to your problem but it mustr eb awful, I had spd in my last pregnancy and it's playing up again, I was in tears on thurs last week as i could hardl;y walk, but it's just now and again for me.

Nothing a lie down and a hot bath cant help.

I wish you could afford the private? Can you geta loan for it, your physical health affects your mental health and both are paramount, hugs!

to you pie. I had SPD with DD but it went soon after, can't imagine how awful it must be to still have it, I agree with the other posts just hound your GP to refer you to another practitioner. Good luck

Welcome home Pie and so sorry you are in so much pain. I agree with the others you need to get more treatment. We have an HSA plan which we pay into monthly, it's only about £15 a month and we can claim for loads of things. I got £200 when I had Isobel and we can claim back half of any osteopothy or chiropractors fees. I know you have to pay it to begin with but it's good to know that every month or so you can claim half back.

I have very severe SPD in both my successful pregnancies, and for the last one found that reflexology worked wonders. DH had to learn to do it, since there wasn't a reflexologist near us then, and it made the difference between being able to walk or being confined to an armchair!

I found osteopathy worked really well. I guess it's the same sort of principles though - working on trigger points.
