    where is your pubis?

Is that sort of at the front and under the bump cos I always thought that SPD was more sort of to the hips at theside but I have developed ths pain recently in the middle and above my bits iyswim

Have been having problems getting up from lying position for a few weeks now and yesterday and today I can hardly walk. I have lower back pain but only when I've been standing for a while. Not seeing the obstetrician till next Thursday.

Swollen ankles, pubic pain, I am so fed up

I think that is indeed your pubic bone that is bothering you. Ouch

    sounds grim

doesn't sound like the way I was with Minitilly, SPD does seem to be more hip based. In your back, it kind of radiates across roundabout where the hip bone is and sort of behind and under the pubic bone

If that makes any sort of sense, well done you!!!

I think at your stage of pg Pixie, its a struggle to get up full stop!
Can you raise your legs? Walk up the stairs?

Sounds like how I was with Caylin too pixie. The only way I could get out of bed was to slowly & gently swing my legs round and dangle them (my legs are shorter than the height of our bed) then try pushing myself up to sitting from there.

Poor you Hope it eases soon

    Sounds like SPD to me,

Your pubis separates and moves, grinding together.....casuing pain that is deffered to the back and hips.

When I walked I had acute pain in my pubic bone. And shap pains in my hips and lower back pain also!

Careful Pixie, you can cause much damage by over exertion.

Crapola. Thanks for your replies. I just can't believe what has gone wrong this time. Hyperemesis, suspected eptopic, high risk triple test, my blood going gaga, hyperemesis again and now this. I REALLY want this baby to be born sooner rather than later- fingers crossed they'll do the induction from the scan date and not my LMP date

My mother just said- Oh I was perfectly healthy when I was pregnant- so I said well yes but you were under 20 I'm nearly 40- sympathy eh.

Definetly sounds like SPD. With all my boys the pain had been in the back and around my hips but with dd the pain was exactly where you described it.

Its so hard to do a thing. I remember going up the stairs on my bum at one point as I couldnt walk up them

I really hope your little one arrives soon to give you some freedom from the pain

Can she do anything though? I am managing at the moment albeit badly- I'm walking like an old lady with a stoop. I'm seeing the obstetrician on Thursday- shall see if he does anything
