    Not Good!

    Well, good in that I still have a job in september.

    Good, in that after stampong my feet about having been promised one thing then not getting it I will get pay for 4/6 weeks of the holiday.

    Good in that new post is permanent.

    Bad in that it's fewer hours, lower pay grade.

    Bad in that I'll lose nearly 2k gross, and gain £1.55 a week in tax credits!

    So, not sure how the money is going to stretch.....anyone need ironing doing?

    Great news you still have a job even with lower pay. Just make use of the extra time off for doing something like cleaning, ironing, supermarket etc which gives you better quality time at the weekends with your family (assuming you have sat and sun off?)

    At least job us secure, perhaps you could look for something else?
