I know a 40something Martha - she was my housemate.
I suspect Martha may be becoming popular a la Dr Who. I get so annoyed when people said 'so you called him after Elijah Wood?' 'No, actually, the prophet, lived a couple of thousand years ago.'

I quite like Edith. It was on my list. When I phoned Mark from the hospital at 4am when Merry was born, Mark said "She's called Meredith" and that was the decision made! LOL!
