A chance for the pregnant members to let us know whats what!

    1. When are you due?
    2. Will you be finding out the sex?
    3. Do you have any idea what kind of birth you are aiming for?

Ok didn't really wanna be the first, but I am :preggo with No. 2

I am due on the 17th December 2004

I do not want to know the sex, altho DH does and this is a sore point, we don't get many surprises in life, everything is planned, so I want this to be something I am un-certain about for once.

I will opting for the normal labour, Gas & Air, (if necessary an epidural).

DS is asking lots of questions and now talks to my tummy once a day to just say hiya.

I am currently moving my office (small room) into another room, so new baby can have own room. Loads of painting to follow, deep joy

Hi Ronniebaby...your baby is due 2 days before mine!!

I'm due on 19th December, and can't wait!!! :clap

What age is your son? My DD is 2.5 and she talks to my tummy too, she tells the baby she loves it!! We've told her it will be coming after she starts playgroup so she can associate it with something, rather than just "it's coming soon".

With you here on not wanting to know what sex it is....hubby does not want to know either, you need something to keep you going during all that pushing don't you? When i was expecting DD i felt as if i was having a girl, and funnily enough i get that same feeling this time around too, although i don't mind at all either way!!

I'm having a hospital birth (although i did inquire about a home birth this time). I had to have am epesiotomy and forceps and suction with DD, so the midwife deemed me unsuitable to have a HB. (although she DID say if it went well this time i could have one next time...LOL) I had just gas & air with DD, and was just in labour for 6 hours, not bad for a first baby i'm told.

Hope we can share our experiences as you are the only person i know that is due around the same time as me!!

They say you fel your second baby move earlier than your first, but how early do you think that will be?? I'm waiting for it any day now!! Hubby thinks i'm mad...(wheras i know i am!!!&#33

    Good Luck, Lady M :preggo

    Congrats toooooo Lady Marmalade.

You can apparently feel baby move around 16 weeks, so less than 3 weeks to go for me, altho I could swear I can feel it now.

Ds is 3, will be 4 in August.

I also had an episiotomy and forceps with DS, but had G&A then an epidural.

As to experiences, LM if you on MSN messenger I'm on there all the time, if not get MSN messenger and we can chat online.

FD thanks sweetie, must catch up soon xx

Aileen, thanks, I have no problem with a winter baby, just the fact it is soo close to xmas, my first due date was 23/12/04, but after dating scan on Friday they tell me it's gonna be 17/12, which is slightly better, as I wasnt looking forward to xmas in hospital without DH & DS.

    Ronnie, the coincidences are scary!!

My dd WAS born on 24/12!!

I spent xmas eve in labour, xmas day and boxing day in Hospital!!

That is why i'm hoping #2 will be born on time (DD was born on her due date) so i will be out of hospital for xmas dinner with hubby DD and new baby!!

I also don't want to miss DD's 3rd birthday on xmas eve!!

I'd be really upset if i thought that i'd miss that.

I'm on MSN messenger.....PM me and we'll figure out how to send you my add thingy.....I'm not technical at all but i hope you are!!
