When Sam was 5 months old my stomach swelled and I had sensations identical to baby kicks. I was convinced I was pregnant and I was surprised to find I wasn't. After a few months it disappeared.
Now (6 months after Alex's birth) I'm feeling exactly the same, but after two tests I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant. :crossfingers
Has anyone else had this weird feeling?

Ok you're the 3rd person here today with a baby that age who is wondering if they're pregnant. Were you all abducted by aliens at the same time?

FWIW I haven't ever had the swelling sensation, but I have had the kicking one.

I've got the swollen stomach and 'kicks' at the moment but I know I am at most 6 weeks preg (although 99%certain not preg at all). I seem to remember i had the kick sensation between pregnancies.
What did those aliens feed us?
    I should be studying :whistle

I remember being 8 weeks :preggo with Alex and my waist vanished over night. I was terrified I might actually be whale size by 6 months. Thankfully it settled down.

The kicks sensation seems to be a common phenonoman (sp) - loads of people I know get them but only those that have had kids :paranoid

Probably because those who haven't had kids correctly interpret them as wind - whereas we always remeber what else felt like that.
Mother to Alex (4/1/1998), Eleanor (18/10/2003) and Toby (26/3/2005)

exist very nicely in the same box."
