    hiya,
i had my first child 2 weeks after my 19 birthday, felt totally ready...Does ur friend have support around her, apart from u- any family? Does she feel she would be supported by the father? ultimately it is her decision, and if she has help from others i don't c why she can't keep the baby...i know lots of girls who do an amazing job of raising their kids alone, and don't feel their kids are any worse off by not having a daddy around..i know that if anything happened between me and DP i would make sure my kids would b ok... she needs to seriously consider her options and do what she feels is right .... has she looked into the help she could possibly receive?
hope this helps in some way xxxx

    Hmmm, tricky one.
As Vicks said, does she have support from her family? I had my first at 19 but was married and very sure I wanted her, she was planned.
Saying that, I know people who weren't ready to become Mums and who terminated their pregnancies, but I don't know of one who doesn't regret doing it, and are now filled with 'what if's'. One in particular needed huge amounts of psychological help as a result of the termination. She's still not right, 20 years later
Not an easy decision either way.
    How far gone is she?
