Midwife just sent her to hospital with high BP, blurred vision, headache, dizzy and protein in her urine. As if the SPD isn't enough

they are discussing steroids now - that usually means they want to develop babies lungs, doesn't it? Incase of early delivery...?

yes it does tilly they did with my dd's as she tried to come at 26 weeks it's just a precaution in case they do have to deliver.fingers crossed for you friend xx

Yes is it does mate, I had one lot before I had DS at 25 weeks, didn't work too well as they had to whip him out very soon after I had the steroids. Pre-Eclampsia I'm assuming with your friend? .... everything crossed for them xxxxx

your DS is fine though isn't he Mac?
How early was Isla, FD?

DS has Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD) a chronic lung disease caused by the ventilator, and also quite a lot of other developmental problems that are ongoing, but he was 25 weeks gestation and it was 17 years ago, I should think things have moved along very quickly since then.
