Pregnant Members - how are you doing?

How are all the pregnant MO members doing?

I can't believe that I am 33 weeks now, in under six weeks I will have had the baby (planned c-sec for medical reasons). My friend keeps saying that my pregnancy seems to have gone so quickly, I can't decide whether it has or hasn't. I can't believe that in under 6 weeks I will have had the baby but it seems like an age since I had the positive test.

i'm ok. like you i cant decide if its gone quickly or not. i have been dealing with Matt being away rather than on the pregnancy.we still have all the big things to buy. when he's home we have 2 sets of visitors and then it'll be Pippa starting school the same week i'm due so i'll have to make sure i;m organised for that. i am also hoping this baby turns head down as i cannot be arsed with having a 7 night stay in hosp and being stuck at home being able to do hardly anything for 6 weeks if i have a CS. f*ck that, putting it politely.

    otherwise i'm cool

I'm not very well organised. I've got a few sleepsuits and vests but don't want to buy many till we find out if it is a boy or girl. My parents will pop out and buy what I need.

I've got a pram/carrycot that the baby will sleep in. Our house is cramped so I am not buying a cot till the baby actually needs one. I've not bought a steraliser or any bottles as I plan to breastfeed. I'm going to use real nappies this time, I've bought and washed these but I am not sure if I have enough.

I want to get a Calin Bleu wrap soon, I'm a sling virgin though.

We've decided on names unless I change my mind again.

No, we aren't telling anyone. We told people when I was PG with DS and got fed up with people giving their opinion. My Mum didn't like the name Finn but in the end we called DS that anyway.

I like your choice of name, both our names are four letters as DS/DD have short four letter names.

I'm 22 weeks tomorrow, and to be honest, I feel completely pants 90% of the time. I have found this pregnancy soooo hard. I cry every day about something or nothing, I feel like I am a lot more pregnant than I actually am, I'm not very big, but I get so breathless and tired, and my back aches already, im sweeling etc. So all in all, I'm rather ashamed to say, I'm not enjoying it very much

Tho, baby is very active, and I do enjoy him wriggling around, always cheers me up.

Names, still not sure. Conall James, CJ for short is fave.

Same here, it is so much harder when you have two other children to look after. I had hyperemesis in my first pregnancy but could just lie on the sofa and feel sorry for myself. I had it again this time but I had to do the school runs and look after DD all day then try to go to work in the evening. I've had really tearful days when I've just felt pants, my body hasn't always kept up with what my brain has said it should be doing.

When you are pregnant with your first you can put your feet up when you want to. Even when I was PG with my second it was quite easy, there was only 18mths between them so DS occassionally had a nap so I could rest too and there were no school runs to worry about.

Yes I know just what you mean. There is 18 months between my girls, so Grace would nap and I could too when preg, and she was so little she wasnt as hard work as toddlers. My DD2, is a real tinker too, such hard work. I get very anxious, worrying there is no way I will cope when this new baby comes.
