i have been lucky and not been sick at all. plus Pip is 4 now so she is able to tidy up after herself etc, plus she at school 5 mornings and the bus stop is only on the other side of the road. lucky really as by the time i've reached 32 weeks i'll have been on my own for half of it.

Hi, I am 39 weeks today with a planned c-section (again medical reasons) next Tuesday unless little one makes an appearance before then.

The last nine months does seem to have gone quicker this time but having a 3 year old already helps.

Right at this moment I just want the bump gone, can't get to the sink properly, can't drive properly (dh says thats normal, but thats another story lol) as I can't move the seat forward enough, forever dropping things, I was never this clumsy before I was pregnant. Oh and 3 year old thinks mummy makes a great climbing frame.

Never mind it will all be worth it next week when I hold him or her in my arms.

ooh good luck for next week!

i';ve just been laid on the bed upstairs having a flap as i realised i couldnt remember the baby moving today. so i just laid there poking my tummy for a while, and there was nothing. so i then rolled over onto my right side and she started going beserk she lies on my righthand side so she must have been woken up and gotten squashed.

Everytime I wash dishes I end up with a wet bump as it ouches the side of the sink.

Good luck for next week, is it your first c-sec?

No I had an emergency c-sec with my first after 4 days of inducing didn't work. But I am assured that an elective c-sec has a much better recovery than an emergency, wouldn't want to go through all that again.

Ive had 2 planned C-secs, first for Breech baby and 2nd as I was scared to death of scar rupture, and I had an easy quick recovery both times. I am sure you will be fine.

Nina, I just *knew* I was gonig to end up having a c-sec with Grace, I dont know how. I just knew it. She never budged from Breech. After she was born, for weeks she slept with her legs hunched up against her chest as she has been breech in my tum for so long, it took her ages to fully "Straighten" out! She looked suddenly longer when she did Awwww...I'm getting all gooey now lol

I had an elective section last time, my recovery was great. I was feeling better a lot quicker than I did after a long labour ending in DS being born with help of the ventouse cap and I needed stitches.
