Thread: Scary scary scary last night...

With DD's, I have had 2 planned c-secs, I've never been in labour. I'm due another planned c-sec this time, though secretly hoped he might try to make an appearance before!

That was, until last night!

I was having Braxton Hicks, which is nothing new, but noticed I was getting them a lot more than usual, and then by about 8:30pm, they got quite painful, and were causing pain in the centre of the base of my back, though nothing at the front. I started timing them, didnt tell DH, and for 90 mins, I got them every 5 mins like clockwork, and the pain got worse and worse, and eventually spread to the front of bump too, right at the bottom.

I got a bit scared, told DH and he seemed excited! I wasnt! I was terrified! We started moving house yesterday and my notes and half my suitcase are at my old house! Luckily 2 mins away. The pains/tightenings then got a bit irregular, every 3 mins at one point, then every 6-7, then back to 5. I got in bed and lay there awake still worrying until about midnight! Then I decided to try and snooze and figured if this was it, I wouldnt be able to?!

I slept on and off all night, and this morning my bump is still tight, sore and uncomfy, but I dont think anything is happening. But I tell you what, I was really really scared last night!!!!!!

Grace was extended Breech from 28 weeks....

Lilah was my choice after 1 c-sec for about 1000 reasons.

This one, hospital say it would be better for me than trying for a natural now.

Oh Lise..sounds like quite a night....... not long now though till babe makes an appearance!

Wow, but also super exciting!

How exciting. My baby number three was exactly 21 days early, and four days before that I was certain he was about to pop there and then.

I am scared! I really wanted him to make an early appearence (Not too early, but before the c-sec) but now I know it COULD happen, I'm seriously seriously scared!!! I Felt really unprepared last night, so I will make sure my bag is finished & packed today, just in case....I have everything, I just havent put it all in my case (Which strangely, I got down from the Loft yesterday, well DH did!) and half of it is here with me, and half is at our old house.

I got scared about all sorts of things last night, like scar rupture, and not being able to do it, and also the constant monitoring and being strapped to the bed....these are all the things that put me off trying with Lilah.

I also had a mega busy day yesterday and wonder if maybe I just over did it a bit. I dont know! Its all so scary....Its my third baby but this is totally new ground for me. Oh, and I am a wuss. lol
