Thread: shouldnt i be......?

nesting, or something, by now?

i remember being 3 weeks off having P and pulling the cooker out and cleaning behind it. this time i am doing nothing apart from the bare minimum of housework and spend a lot of my time sat on my arse, filling my face.

to be fair when i DO do something i end up having to have a sit / lie down for 10 minutes. Kitty's godfather is arriving on friday and the bathroom was gopping so i just cleaned it all inc mopping the floor and i thought i was going to die, and started getting BH's.

I never found nesting affected me, just enjoy the rest while you can!

I've had a compulsive cleaning day today - bathrooms, kitchen, washing very small nappies and vacuuming! Decided to go with it as the urge to be a domestic godess does not strike me very often! I also ended up with BH and knackered so now sitting on the sofa watching the kids systematically untidy the house again!

Take it easy - conserving energy may be the best policy

thing is i DID have weird cleaning binges before Matt came home. they have since tailed off...maybe they'll be back. LOL

Perfect excuse to do the bare minimum. I think you are absolutely doing the right thing. Your body clearly agrees with you so put the men to work!!

I never, ever had any nesting compulsions with either of the girls....

I was decorating (up a ladder!) 40 weeks pg with Imogen until DH told me off. With Alex everything had been done and mum was here for 3 weeks before he put in an appearance so I did what all pampered pregnant ladies should be doing - eating maltesers by the lorry load.

Lol me too! Decorated the whole kitchen on my own!
