Thread: Here he is

This was taken at just a couple of hours old


and this one was taken this morning


He was born after just over 3 hours in labour, although I had been having niggly pains all morning. But by 1pm I knew something was happening so I rang DH to come home and rang for a midwife to come. MIL came over to look after Rebecca and my mum collected Owen from school. By then I was 9cm and the 2nd midwife was stuck in traffic, but my usual midwife had just finished her ante natal clinic, so she came straight over. Then as I was getting ready to push the other midwife arrived and Ethan arrived shortly after with only a few pushes.

The other two adore him and he's been eating well and sleeping fairly well and is just beautiful .
