Finally.... A girl!!!! UPDATED WITH A PIC!!!

my lovely SIL gave birth last night to a lovely baby girl..she nearly made her due date of today, and was born at 3 minutes to midnight

..
she is only the second girl born of that generation..the first being 13 years ago!!
having three boys myself, ppl have been saying how lovely it'd be to have another girl in the family...now thats some pressure taken off of me and chris

the happiness is slightly tainted by a recent family breakdown, involving a few ppl in our immediate family and nasty things were e-mailed and said...myself and chris got caught up in it trying to stay neutral but coming to blows with his parents for horrible things they had said to his other sister...kind of makes things awkward..
also, our boys have not had contact from their nan and granddad, although, i have never stopped that from happening..even when dayle went to Italy for a school trip..it could quite easy, he uses fb as does his granddad...

she was breech so em had to have a c-section...poor love....
mother and baby both doing well!!!

Congratulations on the birth of your new niece.Do you think this could be the excuse everyone needs to bury the hatchet or has it gone too far for that? What have they called her?

congratulations aunty vicks!!!! a new arrival is always lovely, shame there is other "stuff" going on.... i hope things can be resolved between all parties.... enjoy your cuddles with your new little arrival!

Congratulations to you all! I know about other stuff - when it was us, I just focused on the positives (ie. DD2 at the time) and let the other stuff just slide. It will hopefully all sort itself out one way or another.

Yay! Congratulations on the new pink bundle, Aunty Vicks!!

Sometimes a new baby can mend all sorts of horrors within a family, I hope she does for all of you

it's a shame when it affects the children, too.

i hope things will be sorted, chris has decided to make the first move towards his mum and dad....and i think dayle wants to send his granddad a message via fb

BTW, Meggie..she was named Lillie May

...can't wait for cuddles!!
