Ares Leonidas was born at 00:45 am today

Everything kicked off on Saturday night when I started getting twinges.With I thought they were Braxton Hicks contractions. They continued all night not painful but enough for me not to be able to sleep I was still thinking they where BH. I was able to catch a few hours sleep. I woke up Yesterday and the twinges were still there grumbled to DH about these BH contractions. About tea time It occurred to me that maybe they were the real thing and asked DH to phone his Mum just in case she was needed. Eventually we phone the Hospital to let them know we were on our way in as the contraction were 5 minutes apart. At 00:10 things started to hot up with the contractions getting very painful and close together I went from 5 cm dilated to Fully dilated in the course of about 10 minutes. 20 minutes later Ares was born with cord wrapped around his neck. I only had a graze so no stitches for me

and only gas and air.
