    Back Carriers

Used to have an ergo- the classic.

Should I go for another Ergo- the new generation or a patapum?

I am not confident enough to do back carries with my Moby wrap (which we love for front carries )

Well I'm loving the Ergo, so that'd be my vote

    Another Ergo fan here.
I have only ever used the New Gen, but we love it and I personally preferred it to the Patapum.
I also like a Mei Tei for back carriers too. I have a Kozy, but have heard good things about the Babyhawks.

We've used an ergo classic with DS1 but I bought a babyhawk for DS2. I've not used the ergo with DS2, we seem to use the babyhawk all the time - simply because it's easier to pack!

My avatar picture is DS2 being Mr Happy in the babyhawk

TBH of all the SSC's I've tried my favourite is def the Connecta. I find it higher in the back than the Ergo so DD's feel more secure and I also prefer the non padded waist, it feels less bulky when I wear it (and it folds/stores smaller than the Ergo too)
MT's are fab for back carries too of course, my Babyhawk is V comfy as are alot of the Scandi MT's around but if you prefer buckles to straps then IMPO the Connecta is fab!

There is so much more stuff around now Pixie. I wouldn't know where to start. Just had a look on Big Mama Slings and she had 4 different SSC's not including the Connecta!

    Good luck.

I loved my Ergo for DD, but now with Ds I prefer Mei teis - I just use the one I made myself now, or a wrap. Not tried a Connecta or a babyhawk but they do look lovely Iss there a sling meet near you you could go along to? May help if you can't make your mind up! http://www.slingmeet.co.uk/
