Thread: Nappies

hi please help, i got a boy on the way in two months and i have no idea how many nappies this little rasle is going to go tho, say about every 24hours, 10,15,20 can't be any more than that surely, and size there all different sizes which one do u pick its not born yet how am i to know the wight.

Depends on if you use disposable or cloth. Others will be able to advise lots on cloth, but if you choose disposable (although I would recommend you didn;t - not just for environmental reasons but it is SO SO SO expensive and would work out cheaper to use cloth, even though it doesn't seem like that at first) go for a couple packs of newborn number 1 size. With DD2 I got through about 8-10 a day at first, sometimes more, sometimes less.

Thank you xaulleo, u put my mind at eass, now i can plan alittle. i have thought about the other nappies, but i don't really know any thing about them. i am going to be getting one after littlen is born to try them out, but for the few frist days im going to take the easy way, its all very new to me and so i shall leave scary things more towards the end of the long list of being a new perant.

Why don't you try the eco disposables such as Nature Babycare? I use them and prefer them to other disposables! I've had them since my LO was born and not had any problems.
