When did I turn into an "earth mother"?

Was pondering this as heads turned when I was walking along with the Mini munchkin down at the local shopping park.
He only had a wee notions rainbow fleece jacket, and wee notions booties sticking out from his Rainbow Maya wrap ring sling...not to mention the cloth nappies underneath.
I hope it brightened the dreary day for the onlookers

I seem to get 'crunchier' with each child I have LOL.
DD1 wore cloth but wasn't carried in slings other than a baby bjorn until I discovererd Rimmers Ergo and the BWing obsession was born . She was BF but only for a few months and we never really co slept properly. Her clothes were mainly mainstream highstreet stuff too.

DD2 has been carried from birth, worn cloth from birth, co slept until she was around 12mnths old and BF until she decided to stop. She wears lots of longies, organic, fair trade, WAHM etc clothes, lives in her amber teething necklace and much to my mothers horror has nevr had a hair cut (and her fringe is getting long now!)LOL.

Goodness knows what I'll do with this next child but I'm always open to ideas (especially if they will shock my mum LOL!!). Am planning a home (water) birth and maybe I should have a lotus birth, god I think she'd have heart failure at the mere suggestion

Sounds like your DD2 was a very colourful bunny today MJ, I love Weenotions stuff

Hmm sounds like Rimmer is the cause of all this crunchiness ...It was her Ergo that got me into babywearing too...and she insists on knitting me the cutest longies too!!

The placenta also dried and shriveled due to our salt treatment, developing a meaty smell that interested our cat!
    ..........................................

    lovely!
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
    We will remember them.
