Couch to 5K - My diary

Well I decided a while back that I wanted to get back in to running but my level of fitness has lagged somewhat in the last while so heard about this "idiots guide" so downloaded it tonight to the iphone and off I went. It's a mixture of running and walking and supposed to get you up to running a comfortable 5 K in 8 weeks so week one started tonight.

Just 30 mins of a 5 min walk then intervals of 60 sec jog and 90 sec walk followed by a five min walk again. I feel good. It was easy really but I think I will stick to it as I am sure it gets harder. Supposed to do it 3 times a week but I think I will aim for 4 times - famous last words I'll prob. end up sore and not bother tomorrow.

Well done, Clem. Hope you manage it.

My sister has just started this. She's been out twice so far.
