    Hair repair

I am a very unnatural blonde. If I don't do something soon to rehydrate my hair I will have to go dark again or watch it fall out. What treatments have you found to be the best for very dry hair?

Oh buggar i cant remember the name as it changed recently but it's in a red or gold tube andit's an intensive conditionaer that I use and leave on covering my head with cling film for an hour or so and it's amazing for getting hair back in shape. It's not a silly designer one either and onluy costs aboit £4 I think. I will look it up tomorrow. Sorry, Busy day, wine at friends with supper...

I really like Pantene but I haven't dyed my hair in a long time and can't remember how it was on that...don't remember it being crap anyway.

How about an intensive conditioner or V05 hot oil, would they help?

I use Henara, it's a big pot of realy thick conditioner and a little goes a long way. it only cost me a couple of quid and they do three, one for blondes, one for brunettes and one for red heads.

    I love it!

Oi oi ..... drank it, my a*!e

It was actually very good I still use it when I need to!!

GG, I agree with AL, Aussie 3 minute miracle is fabulous!! The banana hair putty is good but the smell of bananas put me off it ....

Do you use the shampoos forumated for blondes? Andrew Collinge is a good one and on special in tesco at the moment?

Also, the usual blah blah about having it trimmed every 6 weeks or so, and use protective heat spray on it if using straighteners etc....
Oh, and when doing the roots only do the roots for the full amount of time, then spread the rest over the lengths for the last 5 minutes or so

Hope this helps, can you tell I've been bottle blonde for aaaagggggeeeessss!!

    Thanks ladies.

I get my hair done professionally so I'm assuming that they are doing the right thing w.r.t. applying it but the seem to do it all at once (roots and ends) - I guess 'cos it's weaved.

Using Kerastase (sp?) shampoo & conditioner + spray leave in conditioner + spray in straightening protector stuff. it's reasonably short too so I cant see the problem really... I'll start with the Aussi miracle one.
