Ooops, meant £200. However, still easy done at theme park prices! The pop on top too.

Get yourself some blister block http://www.medsportgb.co.uk/acatalog..._Blisters.html

They are clear so you wont see them on your feet but they are a lifesaver when I started running.

If you do a lot of walking, get some decent trainers, they don't have to cost a fortune but IME of seeing other peoples feet at work, they need to be fitted, most sports stores will do this for you, any movement at the back and they will rub. I spent £50 on mine for running and they are a size bigger than normal, but they are just perfect.

For sandals I would have thought birks would be the best or Crocs, but if not then a pair of sports type ones should do the trick, as they will be strapped tight to the feet as pp mentioned.

I don't think any cream is a good idea at all

get the scholl or boots antiseptic talc, sprinkle it in your shoes and carry it with you

If you use it with the spray, that should help loads - I use it all the time now and don't get blisters anymore

Just found this thread I started after my last Florida holiday. Got back fromthe latest trip this lunch time. I ended up going for trainers and socks, teamed with shorts (the latter being an even bigger shock, lol). I used an antibac type deoderant spray twice a day and an anti blister spray. However I still have blisters, but not as bad as last time. I have 11 blisters, manly on or under each toe. The only time I got a blister elsewhere on my foot was when I tried to wear my Birks. But this time none have been infected or overly bad. My feet were incredibly hot and burning but I could walk, yeah! Think this may be the nearest I will get to normality - it is the heat and humidity - I had no problems in the dry heat in vegas last year for example.

Glagla Unisex Classic Black Trainer - Free Delivery and Free Returns at Love Those Shoes

It says these are designed for the summer, and the grey socks further down the page (with indivdual toe bits) are recommended by runners. Maybe somesuch combination?
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
    We will remember them.
