    Thread vein treatment

I have thread veins on my thighs and parts of my lower leg and as a result am very reluctant to wear shorts or skirts that are shorter than calf length.DH says I should get them treated if they worry me that much, there are 2 clinics locally that treat them but i have no idea what to ask or what I should expect to pay!
    Has anyone any experience??

    TIA

Go see your GP first and see if they can advise first. Then go and make an appointment and see what the clinic say.

I have a varicose one on my left calf which is really lumpy when I put weight on it. I maintain a light tan on my legs all summer to cover it up.... you should do the gradual tan thing too... makes the world of difference. I didn't get on with Johnson's summer skin but Last year I did Dove and it was good and this year I am using Garnier.

Another vote for tanning - Johnsons's works well on my skin and as AL says it does make a world of difference.

I have a friend who had some removed at a lcoal clinic and she said it cost just over £300.

TY Ladies, I tried the Johnsons one a couple of years ago and didn't get on with it so may try one of the others

I use the Olay tanner - it is the best one I have tried.
