Thread: 3 year olds do wees in the potty and toilet!

...announced Mini Munchkin on Sunday morning ( his 3rd birthday) and since then he has been wearing underpants
We have had variable ammounts of accidents...mainly around the time he needs a poo ( which he won't yet do in potty/toilet) but he managed a trip round tesco's with me and even a whole day up to 5pm at nursery with no accidents at all

Hope DD2 will say that too, getting nowhere with her ATM.

He kept saying that he didn't want to do wees in potty, but almost needed a reason to stop saying that.
A few days before his b'day i starteed talking about big 3 yr olds doing wees on potty etc, never thought it would work though!

Well, I will be doing that too then if we continue to get nothing!

I think they do it when they are ready, unfortunately not neccesarily when parents are ready!

well done all kids do it when they are ready never before my ds was 3 when he started using potty and was 5 when he came out of his night time nappy

Well done to him.

Ethan keeps telling me that wees are done on the potty but when I ask him if he wants to try he says 'No!' oh well we'll get there in the end, I'm going to wait for the summer.
