I thought I would start a diary to record my weight loss and feelings about it all.
Its not been easy for me since the birth of Lilah, and some people may think I am mad to diet at the moment, but I think its helping, its something to focus on for ME, and no-one else. And I am enjoying the journey so far (Remind me I said that at a later date!).
I'm not a skinny girl naturally, I'm a typical hour glass, with smaller waist and larger hips. I'll never be a size 10....my bones just aren't small enough! But can, and will be a size 12. I'm 5"6 1/2, and my target weight is 10st 10lb this puts me within my healthy weight range and will give me a BMI of 24, Ideally I'd love to be 10st, but we'll see how I go when I get to 10st 10.
Sooooo I started back at Weight Watchers a few weeks ago, I've done WW before. I got to 10st 11.5 just before I met DP, and I can honestly say I felt better than I had in years. I can remember going out one weekend the week before I got together with DP and feeling fabulous and super confident - I want to feel like that again.
I weighed in at 12st 13.5lb at my first weigh in, I had an idea what I weighed and I wanted to be in the 12s, and I was - only just!
The first week I lost 2.5lb, and last week I lost 1.5lb.
I'm really pleased so far.
I'm easing into it well. I get a whopping 31 points per day as I am Breastfeeding, and DP is following it too and also gets 31 points. He does all the cooking, and we've tried loads of the recipes from the cook books already.
We started having an Organic Veg Box delivered and we're trying loads of new things we wouldn't normally. So far so good!
I'm not feeling quite so confident about this week. We went out on Saturday, very last minute. And ate out, and drank rather a lot! Hope it doesn't run all my good work, but I think if I gain, it will be worth it, as me and DP needed that time together. It was his idea to cheer me up, and it worked
So roll on Thursday...I need to know!
I'm not going to record everything I eat in here (ThoI do keep a record), but I will write about what I've eaten and how I am feeling etc.
Here are my stats so far, and I will post new ones every week.
Week 1 - 12st 13.5lb - Start weight.
Week 2 - 12st 11lb - 2.5 loss
Week 3 - 12st 9.5lb - 1.5 loss
My frst mini target, to lose a stone for Xmas - 4lb gone, 10 to go!
