    Mel's Food Diary

    Hi,

I have started to write everything down as I haven't been doing this yet. So I thought that I would share my diary with you all to keep me on track.

I am loosely following Rosemary Conley as I started off following her healthy eating plan about 8 years ago so I am used to it and know what I am doing as when I have not been pregnant I have maintained my weight in my goal range.

Anyone else following Rosemary Conley or counting calories?

I have started to fill in an online diary again which is here:

How's it going Mel? That online diary is amazing! Think I will have a go with it too - anything to help eh? I'm following Rosemary Conley by the way. Not going to the classes just sticking with the diet. Are you attending the classes?

    Hi miam,

I like the online diary as it also has reports that tell you if you are meeting all your targets for calcium / vit c etc. It gets quickier to fill in after you have been doing it for a while, there are better sites in the UK but this one is free.

I'm doing ok at the moment even tho I have just had 3 days off as I bought some new fitness dvds to motivate me and I have been tracking my food which keeps me on track.

I'm not going to Rosemary Conley classes, I would like to but my hubby's work shifts are not compatable with the class. I went to classes after my second son was born and really liked them but I didn't like the fact that I had to pay each week even if I didn't go as with family commitments I had to miss some.
    Mel xx

Well the weekend off turned into a week and a half off.

I have had no self control as I have felt very tired which is my main trigger for over eating, but have been good today.

Fingers crossed for remaining the same when I weigh in tomorrow or to only have gained a pound.

WW Cherry or Blackberry Fromage Frais ( 1 serving ) 64
    Coleslaw dressing ( 1 tablespoon ) 61
Tomatoes, cooked, from canned, NS as to method ( 1 cup ) 46
    Mushrooms, raw ( 1 cup, NFS ) 18

I like Rosemary Conley classes too, especially when they were doing Salsa as the exercise element. But I would much rather do a 'proper' exercise class as I need something a bit more challenging.

I had a few days off the diet too - my brother has been visiting from England so I had a few more nibbles and glasses of wine than I would normally. Still lost a pound though which I am pleased with.

How have you got on the last few days?

I rushed my youngest son into hospital on Monday and we stayed in until yesterday afternoon so I lived on Chocolate and crisps from the nearest vending machine. So I am not looking forward to jumping on the scales on Monday morning.

We are back homeagain and my son is on the mend but he is still clingy - understandably and so is my daughter who is 18 months who I had to leave at home so she doesn't want to let me out of her site either so I'm not going to calorie count for a few days but try and eat properly.
