Thread: Fostering?

For a very long time i have wanted to do fostering and was wondering if anyone on here does it? and if so what advice there is? or even if anyone has views on fostering that dont do it?

Our next door neighbours have recently starting fostering. They are emergency fosterers, effectively they take children recently removed from their homes for whatever reason. They are finding it very rewarding, but it is hard work. It's definitely something I'd perhaps consider in the future. I think if you are in a position to do it and are mentally prepared for it then go for it
