Thread: any ideas for a girlie weekend away?

My schoolfriends and I are approaching our 40th year & want to go away somewhere to celebrate. The budget is around £800 each & if it's not a weekend then it needs to be school hols.

I am tasked with coming up with 3 ideas. All individual ideas will be ranked by the other friends and the highest ranking will win.

There are 6 of us, can be to do anything, anywhere... The only think I really don't want to do is a spa thing - and I'm already going skiing with a different group of friends

So, if any of you have got any good ideas please share them... thanks.

what about a trip to see a concert / comedy show / theatre show, and making a boozy weekend of it in a hotel?

How about booking a villa somewhere hot for a girly holiday?

I'd go with hids idea

City centre break, Amsterdam, prague?
Or mini cruise?

SIL and I plan on a shopping trip to NYC.

I am also planning a girly get away in the spring, with SIL and others, we're looking at the 5* senatori resorts that Thomson do.

Somewhere like Nice or Cannes, city break to Florence or a snowy break somewhere lush like St Moritz with sleigh rides and shopping !

NYC or a sunny beach with cocktails, I reckon!

otherwise vegas, ibiza, madrid. dont go canal boating, did it with friejds once, wanted to murder some of them at the end
