    half term trip

we're going to London for a few days

MT hasn't been, I've been thinking for a while he ought to see his capital city

Such a lot to do there, tho we haven't really decided on anything other than Hamleys and Buckingham palace. Certainly don't want to be going mad money wise but there is plenty to do - I think he would happily ride the tube all day!!!

Then I am going to get us all vaccinated, grit my teeth and take him to .... gulp.... Wales, to stay in Pixie's caravan probably
    Then Scotland
    Then Ireland

He ought to see the rest of GB really!
    And um so should I!!!

    Whats everyone else up to?

    working...

London wise, don't forget the free museums - my 2 loved the natural history museum. If it's a nice day hop on and off the tour bus - get a Thames boat ride thrown in too with at least one of the companies. Also, check out the street entertainers on an evening - we stayed next to the London Eye and there were loads, kids loved them.

Don't forget the museums esp National History and Science Museums - both free. Mollie wants to go to the planetarium too, never been before. the duck tour was good too.

We aren't going away over half term now. We have a friend's 40th birthday party the first weekend, and then Dh is off for a couple of days. Thinkl we may go to the Space Centre near Leicestershore with Katz and family. No other real plans yet.

Agree with London Eye but don't buy in advance as it needs to be clear for the full view, at that price you do it once only. The Tower is ok at his age, Museum of London, maybe a Duck Tour, Transport museum has reopened in Covent Garden.

Not got any plans yet. dd has a party invite for the 1st Sunday and we get ds' entrance exam results the Friday they break up so either celebrating or hitting the phone.

No plans here DH will be working as he normally saves annual leave for the summer months.

London sounds good, we were there 2 weeks ago for a Christening, on the way back we drove through Westminster etc so they could see Big Ben etc.

We went to the Tower but Ian's sis works there so we got free entry.
We walked along the Thames, went on the water bus, Tate is free.
