Thread: London

We want to take the children to London for the first time this summer. Thinking a 2 night weekend break either in central London or near a decent tube connection. We'll need a family room & just wondered if anyone had any recommendations. I've just found a fab hotel for £1226.00 for the 2 nights (Marbel Arch) which is ridiculous - cheap options gratefuly received. thanks.

I would think you can get somewhere much cheaper as a last minute deal .... I know there's a hotel near Victoria Station that does some good deals but can't remember what it's called :paperbag:

They'll love it though, St James Park comes highly recommended by my lot! xx

Premier Inn at County Hall is where we stayed - next door to London Eye, Aquarium and Houses of Parliament. Duck Tours stop there too. Highly recommended as a budget place to stay.

Oh, and importantly - loads of cheap eateries on South Bank - within walking distance.
