Hi tigerlily! Maybe you should try watching this short advice film about approaching "the discussion" and tips on how to keep it positive and comfortable for both of you! "Parentchannel.tv - Video - The courage to talk about sex" Hope you find it useful and good luck
Poor poor DS1, he is doing sex education at school and finding it very horrible... he came home today and said there's this awful thing called wet sleeps, or wet nights, or something (he spent the lesson with his head in his arms hence why he probably couldn't hear!) the thing is, if they ask questions it's easy to take it from there but he'd never asked about that! You have to kind of rely on something coming up on telly so they can ask. Like the time he came in the kitchen and asked me what pantons were.
What is a panton?
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
ah, you mean tampons? worked it out. sorry, am a bit slow at times.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
