    "You sneaky little bugger"

is what my 6 year old said to me today.

Punishment = no tv for rest of week & bed before 7. I was v close to washing his mouth out with soap but think that might be classed as abuse!!

I guess it could have been worse ...

They use these words without knowing what they mean or how bad they are. DS1 said "frigging" in the car the other day and I told him very sharply not to use that word and it means the same as w-a-n-k (DS2 was in the car too) and he was suitably mortified (but pointed out Daddy says "frigging kids" all the time). If DS2 uses a bad word I just have to say "it's very rude and horrible and you mustn't say it" though.

He said it 2 weeks ago to a friend and I overheard so he got the sharp telling off then. I don't think he'll be saying it a 3rd time.

Haha! He was chasing me through the school & I dodged him & went into a classroom. Another mum was in there and raised her eyebrow in recognition of my gasp!
