I am now "competent" in basic accounting

AAT level 2

could have done it anytime in last 15 years thru work, but never wanted to really cos didnt have to have it for my job, as I always got promoted on other qualifications and relevant experience

But now I am thinking if I got a job in the restructure, I will have to do it and all the others too anyway,
And going for a job externally, I'm going to have a much better chance if I am studying it
And can now claim to be part qualified

Though am surprised to be enjoying it. Some of it is infuriatingly obvious and dull and basic, some of it I think, oh yes, I do that / use that, but I didn't realise there was a law / theory / rule behind it, and some bits I think, what the...? Fortunately not too many of the latter - yet
