CHILDREN’S TV STAR, LITTLE PRINCESS VISITS NEWCASTLE TO GIVE FAMILIES A ‘ROYAL’ TREAT

Fenwick rolls out the red carpet for Little Princess, Saturday 24 May 2008
Fans of the award-winning Little Princess preschool show and best selling international picture books can join their heroine for fun and activities on Saturday 24 May at Fenwick, on the Toy Department, Third Floor, in Newcastle. Open to all, this is one exciting in-store event guaranteed to get the royal seal of approval!

Celebrating her first ever toy range from Born to Play available to buy in-store, the blue blooded young royal will be brought to life with the Little Princess character costume. Plus, there will be a colouring competition and face painting making this one fun-filled event not to be missed. Each session will take 40 minutes starting at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm and to add to the VIP treatment, there will be a photographer available to take snaps that can be taken away as a special gift to remember the day.

Boys and girls can treat themselves with the new range of Little Princess toys including cuddly toys of Little Princess and Gilbert and collectable beanies of character favourites like Puss and Scruff. Children can also enjoy the fun of the outdoors with the new Little Princess space hopper, bouncy castle, inflatable spray pool and selection of wheeled toys including the Nessie Stick horse, based on the General’s hobby horse.

Based on the international best-selling children’s picture books by Tony Ross, the Little Princess TV series features the voice talents of international television and film star, Jane Horrocks and presenter/comedian, Julian Clary and is currently airing on FIVE’s Milkshake! weekdays at 6:45am.
